Wow. Now that’s butter. Stirling Churn 84. Smooth, rich, rounded, slightly sweet, lightly salted and the closest I’ve found to the luxurious butters you get in France. Eighty four percent butterfat (80% is the standard in Canada) brought to us from the Stirling Creamery in Stirling Ontario, not far from Belleville. Just had some on pasta. Made some scones. Amazing beurre noisette.
Bought it at Herb and Spice on Wellington. Can’t remember how much. Doesn’t matter. I don’t care. There’s no going back.
