A huge congratulations to House of Commons chef Judson Simpson on becoming the first Canadian ever to earn the designation Certified Master Chef, the highest credential bestowed in the culinary arts industry.
Jud is also a (now even more valued) member of our judging panel at the Ottawa Gold Medal Plates culinary competition. I should think competing chefs who were honoured to cook for him in past years, will now be doubly honoured. And possibly petrified.
