Truth is I ate this a few months ago. It’s a photo from the summer. But a trip along Bronson in search of vegan gingerbread cupcakes – why ever not? – at Auntie Loo’s, I noticed Jak’s Kitchen, still confronting construction and road closure. A quick look at its lunch menu and the Kim burger – this juicy beauty here – served with the day’s splendid chowder and a salad, is still a feature. So this just to whet the whistle.
