I've been living in Barrhaven for 7 years, and I had no La Porto a Casa was in the strip mall. My wife and I managed to get a reservation (early - 5pm!) for dinner last night.

We shared the Bruschetta, she had the eggplant eggplant parmigiano and I had the cannelloni. With 2 glasses of wine, and dessert, the bill was still only $60. Service was fast, and friendly, and the place smelled wonderful. We were amazed by how many people came in for take-out!

Looks like they are expanding in to the space next door. We overheard the waitress saying that it was scheduled to happen next week. It will be interesting to see if anything about the restaurant changes afterward. Will there still be "Reserved" signs on all of the tables? We'll definitely be back to find out!
