Our wedding rehearsal was hosted here, our birthdays are almost always here, our family celebrations, date nights, nights out with friends, etc etc etc etc! The food.. is AMAZING! Talk about portions!! And the quality, superb!! I am italian.. and lemme tell ya, this is italian food. Tastes just like mama or nonna would make! Everything is authentic and fresh! And you can try anything, and it'll end up being delicious. I have to admit, I often stick to my favorites on the menu, but I have tried many many things.. and Ive not once been disappointed. Okay, fine, its not fancy decor by any means.. but once you try the food, you understand that the real focus in this place, is just that, the food!!! The staff is GREAT! We know the owners personally, and you couldn't find nicer people, who care more about the experience their clients get. They are also VERY accomodating. We had friends with allergies, and sensativites, and they've always been pleased with their meals. The worse part about this restaurant, is just as was stated before... too many people know!!!! If you can get a reservation, or plan ahead.. you will never be disappointed! Its also so nice to have a meal of that quality just around the corner. Not to slam anyone else, but we've tried the other 2 italian restaurants in Barrhaven, and they are not up to par (and in my opinion.. not worth it @ all) We've been once, and will never go back! Forget going all the way downtown for Italian! ITS RIGHT HERE!! Dont ever close.. I don't know what i'd do without you! We have been coming here for years!!!

My wife and I managed to get a reservation (early - 5pm!) for dinner last night. We shared the Bruschetta, she had the eggplant eggplant parmigiano and I had the cannelloni. With 2 glasses of wine, and dessert, the bill was still only $60. Service was fast, and friendly, and the place smelled wonderful. We were amazed by how many people came in for take-out! Looks like they are expanding in to the space next door. We overheard the waitress saying that it was scheduled to happen next week. It will be interesting to see if anything about the restaurant changes afterward. Will there still be "Reserved" signs on all of the tables? We'll definitely be back to find out!
